Bonnie for Model Number jgbp27bew1wh Would someone with no experience with repairing a stove would I be able to switch out the power cord on stove myself.
Answer Bonnie, Yes, you would be able to switch out the power cord on stove even with little experience. You will need to pull unit out. Be careful when you pull out because there will be a gas line connected that may be copper or flex pipe. You want to make sure that you have plenty of tubing to pull out. Once out you will want to unplug unit and turn off the gas. You would then remove the rear cover to expose the power cord wiring. You disconnect cord and plug back in the same as it came off. You may want to wear gloves doing this as there may be sharp edges to the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, March 19, 2013
