Craig for Model Number 980SK1SS I have a GE Trivection Oven. By all accounts, the MPB needed replaced(front display dead, lower oven light would illuminate). So, I ordered the replacement part, WB27T10551 and installed it. Upon doing so, the front panel illuminates and seems to activate the appropriate functions as evidenced by relay audible sounds. However, the heating elements will not activate. I checked several voltages as recommend by the document that came with the oven. It would seem the relays are not being fed power. I checked all the way back to one of the wiring harnesses and found there to be no voltage at the four prong plug which feeds K11 and K7 relays. Upon probing the mains side of this plug, the new MPB seems to have failed as there is now no front panel display and the lower oven light will work. Does this make sense?
Answer Craig, It is possible that you have received a defective control board and would need to get a replacement board. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, January 3, 2017
