Autumn for Model Number GSL25JFPABS I have a GE side by side refrigerator and was told this is the appropriate part to replace the Condenser Fan. However, now I need to know where to find the fan. I think I can get the uninstall and reinstall part unless there are some hidden-need to knows, like the fan has to be pointed north and lined up with the arrow pointing east....ha, ha. But let me know so I don't tear the whole fridge apart before I find it....Thanks.
Answer Hi Autumn. The condenser fan (part # WR60X10209), Is located in the back of the unit. Unplug power and pull the unit out. Remove the back lower cover (6-screws). Inside is the unit compressor (black 6" lg. round part). To the right of that is the white condenser fan motor in a bracket assembly mounted next to the condenser coils.
