Dan for Model Number GSS25SGMD BS The fan located in the back of the cabinet (condenser fan) does not work, cabinet is very hot. Freezer temperture is climbing higher (20 degrees). Would a replacement fan motor correct the problem?
Answer Hello Dan. Yes, if the fan motor WR60X10209 is not running, then the unit will not cool properly. If there is power coming to the motor, and it does not run, you will need to replace the fan motor. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
