Gene for Model Number JVM3670SK03 Good Morning, i'm trouble shooting a GE Profile Spacemaker above the range microwave, model #JVM3670SK03, Serial # FM901066B. My issue is the turntable has stopped turning. Amber gave me a part number for the turntable motor and I think you have it in stock. I tried a used motor, was told it was the same, but different part numbers and it didn't work either. But I don't really know if it was good. My question is, I have no way to test my motor with voltage input of 21V AC, labled on the motor. Can you tell what voltage I should read on the yellow and white wires that plug onto the motor ? Should it be 21 VAC, more or less, and if I need to have the motor touching the frame or mounted back (for grounding) or just check the voltage right off the connectors that plug to the motor? If I have the correct voltage and get a new motor from you and it still don't turn, what am I looking for next ? Thanks for any help
Answer Hello Gene. If the motor shows 21 VAC, then the voltage should be around the 21 VAC. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
