By: Ge
Part Number: OEM10277247
Manufacturer Part Number: WR01X10315

The Auger Nut is a genuine OEM component for GE refrigerators. Located within the icemaker assembly, this nut secures the auger shaft that transports ice from the molding trays to the ice bin.

Symptoms of a bad auger nut include:

  • Poor ice harvest, with pieces remaining in trays and mold cavities
  • Auger shaft wobbling excessively during ice dispensing
  • Ice pieces jamming or clumping together in the bin

Causes can include wear from the continuous rotational movement of each harvest cycle. Over time, the threading may become stripped or warped from repeated heating/cooling.

This genuine GE OEM replacement part is also compatible with Profile, Monogram, and some Kenmore models.
