Jim January 25, 2015 for Model Number lol do you recommend replacingPSS26SGRDSS Ice would not dispense and after disassembly recognized the drive cup was broken. Also notice that the shaft was thread through the auger nut sufficient to crack the case. Is the shaft supposed to be able to thread through the auger nut? Does the shaft stop against the plastic casing? Does the cracked case also need to be replaced? What else beyond the drive cup should be replaced or checked? Let me know. Thanks
1 Answer Jim, Normally when the unit has an issue with the drive cup or the helix plate, this type of issue will occur. The part numbers that you will most likely need are helix plate WR17X11458, drive cup WR17X11459, and ice bin WR30X10100. You could get the complete assembly for this which is part number WR17X11447. Bill March 29, 2014 for Model Number WR01X10315 My auger nut P/N broke allowing the e-clip ot fall off, I ordered a replacement but when reassembling my ice bin the nut screws to far onto the auger, is there another part that has broken or why does it screw on to far?
1 Answer Bill, You will want to check the housing that is at the back of the crusher section that has the hole where the ice comes through to make sure that it is not broken. Also check to make sure that the crusher blades and the washers are all in place properly. Read More...
1 Answer Hello Robert. You will remove the C-clip and the spacer, then the nut WR01X10315 unscrews off the auger shaft assembly. Hope this helps. Read More...
