Debra The top heating element in my 18 year old GE range model J2B915SEHSS actually melted and peices fell into the dish I was broiling. Is the process of replacement similar to the replacement of the bottom heating element ? Does the melting of this element suggest a problem with the range or do I just need to replace the element itself ? Thanks for you help, Debbie
