Carol for Model Number JSP42BK4BB I have a F7 error code. I tried to reset the range by turning it off at the breaker box. I flipped it back on after 20 minutes and it came back again with the same code and beep. None of the touch pad buttons work except the clear button. Do I need a new control panel? Thanks for you help.
Answer Hello Carol, The F-7 is an indication of a stuck key. This could also be a bad control board. Here's what to do to determine which has failed. Turn off the power to the unit. Remove the control panel and disconnect the ribbon cable that connects the control to the touchpad. Reinstall the panel and wait for 24 hours. If in this time, the beeping starts back up, you need the control board WB27T10416. If the beeping does not start back up, you need to replace the touchpad WB27T11076. Read More...
