Ted for Model Number JD900C0K1CC I unhooked the ribbon cable and no more F7 fault codes for 24 hours so I ordered a new touch pad. Installed the new touch pad and same fault reappeared. So now I have the new touch pad and the old touch pad both of which give the same Fault code. What now?
Answer Hello Ted, Hold the new touchpad for a few days but you need to order the oven control assembly WB27T10416. If the oven control assembly doesn't set off the fault code, you can send the touchpad back for a refund. If it sets off the fault code again, it will take both the touchpad and the control board to correct the issue. This is why you should hold the touchpad for a while. You have 365 days on the part warranty so there's no rush. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, August 23, 2012
