Yorisimo for Model Number PFS22SISBSS Fridge had been hot at sides for a while. Finally temperature in freezer and fridge became erratic and then wouldn't cool. Fridge was very dusty around condenser fan and condenser. Condenser fan was very slow. Ptc + olp assembly was cracked. Capacitor measured fine on ohm setting but do not have capacitance setting. Ordered and replaced main control board, ptc+olp and condenser fan and cleaned dust from condensor and fan blades. The new ptc+olp I received rattled when shook and did not read 10-100 ohms across any of the pairs of contacts. Based on a youtube video this was evidence of a faulty relay. Should I see 10-100 ohms between two of the 3 contacts on the ptc+olp assembly ( with/without capacitor)? Despite suspecting a bad new part I replaced along with fan and main control board. Fridge ran fine and got down to correct temperature overnight. Next day fridge is back to higher than normal temperature and compressor is quite hot and not always running despite not reaching set temperature.
Answer Hello Yorisimo. It sounds like the compressor is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, May 31, 2016
