Cecil for Model Number GE Model WBSE2090A0WW My washer will wash and drain the water, but when it starts to spin it will spin for 3 or 5 seconds and stop. The washer is level and the pump keeps running but does not spin. The timer keeps going because after a while the tub starts filling up for the rinse cycle. Thanks for your help.
Answer Cecil, You would want to access the wiring diagram and put the unit through the field service test. This allows functional checking of components. The issue could be with something caught between the tubs of the unit. It could be an issue of the brake not fully releasing and allowing spin. Also check the lid switch to make sure that it is working properly. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, January 7, 2014
