Greg for Model Number GSD5360F01SS I asked recently about a GE dishwasher #r GSD5360F01SS not draining properly. As I suspected, you said I should change the discharge pump. I installed the pump, a WD19X10015, and the problem persists. Interestingly it fills with water fine, runs a complete cycle and does discharge water, just not all of it. I have checked all the hoses, disassembled the screens where the tub feeds into the discharge pump, made sure the backflow valve (flap really) is not obstructed and it still does not empty completely. i am wondering if the timing sequencer or board can be going bad or is bad; everything else checks out. Any other suggestions?
Answer Hello Greg, It sounds like you have a bad anti siphon body valve WD22X10025 and piston and nut WD24X10018. This is an anti siphon valve and if the piston and nut are sticking then it will cause water to go out but end up coming back in. You will need to change these parts. Read More...
