Ann for Model Number WLSR2000G2WW Just replaced the timer, less than a week. Washer fills up for wash cycle and flooded the laundry room and kitchen. I checked the hoses, they were dry, water level is still full inside washer, no water at valves , drain hose doesn't feel wet where it connects to washer. Could drain hose be leaking inside washer or does it sound like a bad pump ? Also if I disconnect the drain hose to check it out, will the water in the tub leak out ?
Answer Ann, Yes, if the drain hose is disconnected or lowered below the level of the top water will drain from the tub. You may want to select the final spin and drain from any cycle and allow the washer to drain the tub. After that the first check should be at the water level switch WH12X10065 and air tube WH41X365 when you replaced the timer, you may have kinked the air tube or knocked one of the wires off the switch accidentally.
