Tracy for Model Number SCB1000KBB01 The display is distorted. It works sometimes. The unit is heating up properly. Is the issue most likely a faulty display control board or something else. It is a 14 year old unit and I don't want to put to much $ in it. I tried to reset it by cutting the power and it still only works some of the time. Thanks
Answer Tracy, the low voltage transformer WB17X10021 would need to be tested for resistance while the power supply cord is unplugged. The primary winding should measure 23.2O. Then the secondary windings would be tested from the yellow wire to the black wire for 1.5O, black wire to white wire for 5.2O, and red wire to brown wire for 1.1O. If these test good, the next step would be to verify that all wire connections at the control panel are secured properly. If the wires are secure, then it would most likely be a failure in the power board WB27X10858. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, November 6, 2020
