John C GE gas wall oven oven igniter is not getting enough volts to make it glow. The broiler igniter works fine, and I tested it to see that it gets about 120 v. when I power it up. When I power up the oven, the wires to the igniter are only getting about 25-50 v. Any idea on if and how I can fix that??? Thanks, John
Answer John, With the igniter getting only 25 to 50vac then you will want to test the thermostat or control board (depending on what your model has). This would be the most likely cause for igniter to not come on. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, June 11, 2015
