Chris for Model Number JGBP79WEB5WW GE Oven/Range Hello. The range burners and broiler work just fine, but when I turn on the oven, it takes a long time to heat up and I can hear sputtering. Eventually after a long while it will get up to temperature, but when it falls below temperature and begins to heat again, I hear the sputtering. Thanks in advance for your help.
Answer Hello Chris. You need to make sure the igniter is not weak. If the igniter is good, then you will need to order and replace the gas safety valve on the unit.
