Answer Brenda, With the installation of the oven igniter there will be no gas turned on so will be no issue with replacement. It will only fit into the location that it is supposed. You would splice the wires only if the connector does not fit with the connector on the range then you would cut the connectors off and splice the wires together with ceramic wire nuts. Read More...
