Martin for Model Number JGB900SEP2SS our JGB900SEP2SS oven won't start, top burners work fine. When we program the oven or broiler temp and press start, it will pause for a couple of seconds & then will have 3 beeps that typically indicates reaching the designated temperature and then shut down. I replaced the lower burner igniter w/ part #WB13K21 and situation remain as above. Can same part be used for the upper or broiler igniter?
Answer Martin, yes, the broil and bake igniters are the same part. Test for 3.2-3.6 vac at the gas safety valve with the igniter turned on. If the voltage is there, you have a bad safety valve.
