Sandi for Model Number ds4500eb2ww Do the screws that attach the heat shield attach to this bearing. I removed the heat shield in order to clean a heavy build-up of lint which was causing a loud noise duing rotation. My huband put it back together as the the holes wouldn't line up right for me, and now it's screeching and almost smells like something is burning. Did I break my dryer? Can we fix this?
