Arlan food keeps freezing in the fresh food section GE model# ESS25LSPABS side by side. the fan sounds different. i wonder if it is the damper. i know very little about a refrigerator does it give good directions to install it?
Answer It is a common problem that the damper would fail in these units, if it does the fresh food section just gets constant cold air. The fan would sound louder as the damper would be open at all times. There is always the chance some ice build up is blocking the door, if you can access it, check for that.
