Chas Ge refrigerator model #TBX18TAZDRWH was leaking water into frigerator from freezer. I removed the shelves and the housing around the fan in the freezer broke the styrofoam that wasat the bottom of the freezer which i think extended into the refrigerator near the light on top. My question , is that styrofoam piece important to the refrigerator cooling
Answer Chas, If the styrofoam is just broken but still can be pieced back in then that is what you would want to do. If not then you would need to replace the damper assembly. You will want to check the drain for the unit as it is most likely clogged. Pull the unit out and find the drain and take it apart and clean out the drain. Read More...
