Raising Cain for Model Number PSS26LGSCBB (GE) Food is freezing in the veg pan and the lower pan. Looked up this problem on line and everyone recommends Veg Kit WR49X10045, but I can not find any other sources that confirms this kit is for GE Model PSS26LGSCBB. What is your thoughts and recommendation?
Answer Raising Cain, I've researched your question, and yes, the kitWR49X10045 will reduce the air flow to the vegetable bin(s) and reduce the temperature to solve the freezing vegetables " This kit is designed to eliminate freezing issues in the middle and bottom pans (including Custom Cool) for Arctica side-by-side refrigerators. The cause of this problem is excessive airflow from the vents in the lower portion of the air tower.
