Joe for Model Number GDT545PSJ2SS I have a dishwasher that will not start due to the door sensor not acknowledging being closed. I changed the door latch sensor already but still not working. After further research, I see it could be either the main control board or the user interface. How can I tell which is defective?
Answer Joe, Thanks for the question!!! The door switch is wired directly to the main control WD21X24900C. If the display is not lighting up you can test for voltage to the user interface WD21X31910. The voltage supplied is 13.5vdc on pins 1 and 2 on J401 connector of the user interface. If voltage is present then the UI is faulty. If you get no voltage you will want to check the wires and trace back to the main board and check to see where the voltage is lost. If no voltage is coming out of the main board it would need to be replaced. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, February 10, 2023
