Ryan for Model Number GDT695SMJ2ES Hi, i have a GE GDT695SMJ2ES. every other day or so it will completely die, need to flip of the breaker for 10 mins or so and it comes back. No lights, no beeps, nothing. Randomly, when it is working, it will beep. between cycles, beeps every 3-4 hours. My question is do yall think its the main circuit (WD21X24901). or the UI circuit (AP6279241). When its unresponsive the top of the door has power (using a non-contact voltage tester). Thanks!
Answer Ryan, We would suspect the WD21X31902C / WD21X23462 Kit Svc Ui Top Logic as the culprit. Based on the information, the U/I board has a "glitch" and causes the beeping, or go "dead". Removing and resetting the power resets the control boards(like rebooting a computer) until the U/I circuit fails and creates the issue again. Read More...
