Douglas R for Model Number GE - GDT695SBL3TS My door control panel is intermittently dead - no lights or power. If I cycle supply power circuit breaker it does nothing. If I unplug the door wiring line from the main board and plug back in the door panel usually powers up and machine runs normally except that door control panel will randomly chirp and power up on its own sometimes even when one is even in the room. Door wire plug is solid and secure. If I wiggle/move the wiring harness and plug without unplugging it nothing happens so I don't think there is a short in the wiring harness/plug. Lasts for a few days/cycles then goes dead again. Have done this several times and keeps reoccurring. Researching forums and videos it seems that control panel is likely culprit. What say you?
Answer Douglas R, Based on the information provided it does sound like a board issue unfortunately there is no real test between the UI and the main controls. You will likely need to replace one of them and if the issue persists then replace the other board. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, November 27, 2023
