Brandon for Model Number GDT655SMJ2ES My dishwasher will start to fill with water, but after filling it doesn't do anything else. The timer will count down, the heater activates, but no water circulates. At the end of the cycle is will drain the remaining water from the bottom of the machine. I initially thought this was the float switch and/or water inlet valve. I replaced both of those and the symptoms persist. Do you think the problem is more likely with the circulation pump, or could it be the machine control board?
Answer Hello Brandon, thank you for contacting APP, This will be an issue with the Circulation Pump Motor [OEM18118277] or the Service Machine Control [OEM21647324]. You may be able to verify which if you are comfortable testing live voltage with a meter. When the circulation pump should be running you should be getting about 120V AC at the pump connector from yellow to brown. If voltage is present replace the circulation pump, if not present replace the control. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, October 9, 2024
