Daniel for Model Number Gtwn4950l0 My machine was making a ton of noise during the fast spin cycle. When I opened up the machine I found the mode shifter had failed, so I replaced it a long with the tub bearing and all nuts\washers in the vertical assembly. Now the machine wobbles and appears to be off balance during the fast spin cycle again. It's really bad at first but settles a bit after a few seconds but still isn't as smooth as it should be. Is there a way to test the balancing rods or could there be something else wrong?
Answer Hello Daniel, I would replace the suspension rods WH16X10158 X2 and WH16X10159 X2, if the motor mount is not contacting the main base at the beginning of drain and spin. Also check the leveling of the unit and the damping straps WH01X39337. Also verify the balance ring WH45X10114 has not lost the liquid solution. Read More...
