Jp for Model Number BJLR473ETOWW (RCA ELECTRIC DRYER) I believe the door swith is defective. How do I check? When I press the plunger it does not click...Is that a clear confirmation it needs to be replaced?
Answer Hello JP. You will need to check and see if the switch WE4X197 closes the contacts when pressed with a multi-meter. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
