Ken for Model Number GDT580SMF2ES My heating element is not heating but has full continuity when checked with an ohm meter. I have come across a few posts mentioning the float switch could be the culprit. Can you confirm this is the case? if so, how do you replace this? Thanks!
Answer Ken, The float switch will not cause the heating element to not come on. This would more likely be caused by a thermostat or a control board that is faulty. You can test the thermostat for continuity. No continuity would mean it is bad. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, July 11, 2017
