Bret for Model Number GDF520PGD2CC I am wanting to know if there is a procedure for testing the float switch part #WD21X10519 in a GE dishwasher #GDF520PGD2CC. I have read that the float switch has an internal Thermistor and can go bad and not allow the heating element to turn on. The heating element tested good for continuity. What prongs do I test for OHMS and what ohm reading should I get for the internal thermistor in the float switch? THanks
Answer Hello Bret, the thermistor located on the float switch assembly should give you approximately 11k ohms at room temperature. You can test this resistance on the main board on location J711 pin 6 and 7. Thanks! Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Sunday, January 27, 2019
