Jimmy for Model Number GTD550HGD4WW My daughter broke the wires from the float switch without disconnecting them. I just wanted to know if the wires had a connector on the opposite end from the switch so we could just replace the whole wiring harness? The end that plugs into the switch doesn't look repairable unless I can find the small metal tabs that fit in the connector? Thanks
Answer Hello Jimmy, I would simply cut off whatever part of the old connector is still present and go to a hardware or automotive store and get some crimp on connectors. Strip back about 1/4 inch of the insulation on the wires and crimp the connectors on, (usually 1/4 inch female spade connectors). Plug them in and you're good to go. This is an inexpensive way to repair it. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Saturday, February 2, 2019
