Manufacturer Part Number: WB24T10147

This high-amp SPDT switch routes power between circuits in cooking appliances to control items such as locks, element relays, or fans. Replacing a worn switch restores dependable operation and helps eliminate intermittent on/off issues. What it does:

  • Single-pole, double-throw action directs power between NO/NC circuits based on actuator position
  • Used to signal or control a component per the model's design (e.g., latch/lock, relay, fan)
  • Failure symptoms can include no activation, stuck-on/off behavior, intermittent operation, or heat-damaged terminals
  • Electrical tests may show incorrect continuity between COM–NO/NC when pressed or released
What's included:
  • Includes: 1 SPDT high-amp switch
Install notes:
  • Disconnect power at the breaker or unplug the appliance before servicing
  • Label or photograph wiring; move leads to matching COM/NO/NC terminals on the new switch
  • Mount with the correct actuator orientation and secure any bracket or screws
  • Inspect connectors for heat damage; ensure tight spade fits, restore power, and test operation

Answer

Hello Jesse, Raise the main top by the following method as per the mini manual: Unplug unit or turn off the breaker to it and verify the voltage has been turned off to it. Turn off the gas supply to the unit. Remove burner caps and heads. Remove (12) T-10 torx screws - 1 by each Air/Gas mixer tube. Disengage 2 front clips using a flat blade screwdriver. Lift top up at front. You will now need to prop the main top up and remove the wires from the back of the switch. Depress the metal retainers on either side of the switch at the same time to allow the switch to be pulled out from the door side of the front frame. The new switch will snap into position and the wires re-connected. The re-assembly is done in the reverse order.
