Bob for Model Number JJW9627AAW The self-clean cycle on the lower oven of my Jena-Air double wall oven would not engage. I removed the panel that the locking latch goes through and found that one of the door switches had fallen into the cavity (the front bakelite flange had partly crumbled). The oven door has two switches -- one controls the oven light and it appears that the other controls whether the door is closed for the self-cleaning cycle to engage. I was able to put the self-cleaning door switch into place temporarily and the self-cleaning cycle does start now! But the door switch will likely fall into the cavity once more. From appearances, this switch looks to be correct -- but is it the one I need for a replacement?
Answer Hello Bob, the oven door switch part 71001129 shows as no longer available from the manufacturer. There is no substitute listed. It is unknown if the switch WB24T10147 you are inquiring about has is the correct size, mounting or terminal size. Neither manufacturer lists the switch specs. Read More...
