Mario R. for Model Number GE Nautilus My GE Nautilus is not draining water. I removed the panel and ran the motor, which seems to be ok, but I notice that the white plastic fan shaped piece that seems to have to drop "down" in order for the pump mechanism to engage does not engage. When I push it with my finger, it engages fine and the water drains. Then the plastic piece resets to "up". Does this mean I have to replace the whole machine or is this something more easily fixed?
Answer Hello Mario. You will need to test and see if there is power coming to the solenoid when the machine is in drain cycle. If so, but the solenoid does not engage, you will need to replace the solenoid WD21X10060. You can test this with a multi-meter MA-DM1. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
