Bill for Model Number GSS20GEWRBB Hello, my refrigerator does not dispense water and it quit making ice. I checked the water line from the pipe and there is water going into the fridge. I also noticed that the ice maker is making a whirring noise every couple of seconds constantly like it wants to make ice even though I did turn the icemaker switch to off. Any suggestions.....thanks!!
Answer Bill, You will want to make sure that the unit has a good filter in it and make sure that the water valve is passing water through it. If the water valve is passing water through it then this will be a faulty filter head assembly. If there is no water passing through then this will be a faulty water valve. Read More...
