Annetta for Model Number WBB6700FOGG I am trying to replace the coupling, but can't seem to get it to stay in place. It is very loose. The bolt that came with it does not fit on top of it because when I put the coupling on the transmission, there is a screw like thing sticking up. What am I doing wrong or missing?
Answer Hello Annetta, There should be a threaded hole there for your screw to be installed into. If there is a screw thing sticking up there, I would see if it will unscrew out of the hole. The screw head could have been twisted off. If it will not come out, you may have to replace the transmission assembly WH38X10002. This hole has to be present because without it, the agitator will continue to come off with the coupler inside an it is extremely hard to get the coupler out of the bottom of the agitator since it snaps in rather tightly.
