Chris for Model Number MaytagMer6775BAN Hi,Thankyou in advance.Lower Oven and broiler will not turn on and heat after spark and burning in half of lower heating element.Upper oven works fine and board looks like it displaying correct signals on top.No poer going to element after checking with meter..What do you think I should do next.Does it need a new control panel and how do I check that...or thermal coupler?what do you think?Thanks
Answer Chris, If you test the control board from L2 to bake for the lower oven with the unit set for bake there should be 240 vac. If not there is and the oven is not heating then the control board is faulty and would need to be replaced. If there is not then you will want to check to check wiring from the control board to the elements. Most likely this would be a bad control board. Read More...
