Pete for Model Number mer6755aab The "on indicator" light stays on all the time. All of the burners work normally and the oven works as it should also. Thanks.
Answer Hello Pete, One of the infinite switches has failed. To determine which one, you have to disconnect, (one at a time), the terminal marked "P". The "P" stands for pilot and this is the part of the switch that indicates that an element is still hot. When you do this be sure to discontinue power to the unit each time before touching any of the terminals. Don't forget as these terminals have 120Vac on them all of the time. When the bad infinite switch gets it's "P" terminal unplugged, the light will go out. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, March 26, 2012
