Phil for Model Number MER6555AAW Just the bake element in lower oven does not work. Continuity checks ok for element and from clock/controls. Broil element does work in lower oven. One previous answer mentions oven relay. I do not see an oven relay on schematic or on oven. And what is the difference between oven thermostat and oven sensor? Also, does overlay come as part of the control board?
Answer Hello Phil. Based on the information you provided, if the element is good, then the control board W10769079 is bad and will need to be replaced.
