Peter for Model Number maytag Mer6755aaq I have amaytag gemini electric double oven range. The control panel works. All elements, including the upper and lower ovens, and the surface burners, do not work. Nothing works except the control panel. I reset the circuit breaker, and not thing happens. Is the control board bad? Thanks.
Answer Peter, Since only the control panel is working you will want to check at your terminal block for 240 vac across the outside 2 posts. If there is not 240 vac then check from each of the outer post to the center post for 120 vac. Which ever side does not have 120 vac is the side you are losing voltage on. You will then want to check the power outlet for 240 vac. If there is power then you have a bad power cord and would need to be replaced.
