Joe for Model Number Lmv1680ww My over the range lg microwave door has cracked for a second time. Is it possible that the material used for this door is improper? The door is not being slammed shut or anything. I'm very frustrated that this is happened. Could heat from oven be causing this issue, possibly weakening the door material. It is very flimsy. Second, is there a special tool or procedure needed to put glass back in door when replacing? Thanks, Joe
Answer Joe, The heat from the stove/oven could potentially cause the door to crack. Another reason is when the door is being opened if it is being pulled down on at all instead of straight out. There is not a special tool required to put the glass back in the door. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, April 15, 2013
