Hello Joe, unplug the microwave from power, place a towel, throw rug or blanket under the area for the microwave when taking the door apart as the glass can unexpectantly slideout Start by opening the door and using a putty knife and slowly pry out the plastic inner frame (choke) work your way around until it lifts off and again watch the glass panel behind it.

Alex, To remove the door you will remove the air grill at the top, once it is removed you will then pop the corner off the inner door panel and then should be able to lift the door off.

Jerry, You will want to open the door and check the spring for the latch assembly on your unit. To open the door you will need to use a putty knife and pop the inner door panel out form the outer door panel. Make sure that the clips holding the spring have not broken.

Hello TNgramy. It is not necessary to dismount the oven to service the control panel. Remove the two screws that secure the vent grille. Roll the top down slightly in the front as you pull it away from the oven and lift the hooks out of the mounting holes. Then remove the screws securing the top of the control panel and lift the panel away from the oven. Unplug all the connectors on the main board. They are keyed and color-coded to prevent connection errors.

Hello Sarah. You simply bend the top hinge upward and lift off the old door and put the new on into place and bend the hinge back down.

Joe, The heat from the stove/oven could potentially cause the door to crack. Another reason is when the door is being opened if it is being pulled down on at all instead of straight out. There is not a special tool required to put the glass back in the door.
