1 Answer Hello TNgramy. It is not necessary to dismount the oven to service the control panel. Remove the two screws that secure the vent grille. Roll the top down slightly in the front as you pull it away from the oven and lift the hooks out of the mounting holes. Then remove the screws securing the top of the control panel and lift the panel away from the oven. Unplug all the connectors on the main board. Joe April 12, 2013 for Model Number Lmv1680ww My over the range lg microwave door has cracked for a second time. Is it possible that the material used for this door is improper? The door is not being slammed shut or anything. I'm very frustrated that this is happened. Could heat from oven be causing this issue, possibly weakening the door material. It is very flimsy.
