Tracy M for Model Number LG WM2233HW On this LG model washer do I use the 4681EA1007G pump? From what I've read if my washer won't drain, the pump is bad. The other issue I have is it will not spin; but I am wondering if that has to do with the water level in the tub preventing it from going ino spin mode? Also, I notice you have the video for the Kenmore, but how do I get to the pump on the LG?
Answer Tracy, Yes the correct pump for your unit would be part number 4681EA2001T. You will want to make sure that the drain pump is not clogged or have obstructions in it and also check to make sure that there is power to the drain pump when the unit is calling for the pump to come on. If there is power and the pump is clear then the pump would need to be replaced. The unit will not spin properly if it is not draining the water out. Read More...
