Ray for Model Number LG wm2140cw My washer will drain and spin out perfectly sometimes but other times it doesnt want to spin out, it just tumbles slowly. The screen is clean so could it be the drain pump keeping it from spinning? Why does sometimes it works but other times doesn't? It is about 3 years old used by a family of 2. What would the part number be if it is the drain pump?
Answer Ray, You will want to access the drain pump and hoses that lead from the bottom of the tub to the drain pump and make sure that there is nothing that is clogging them. If the unit always drains but just will not go into the spin then the issue may be with the pressure switch resetting. This could be caused by a clog in the pressure hose.
