THE PART NUMBER TO THE DRAIN PUMP MOTOR IS AP444072. ALSO, AFTER REMOVING THE DRAIN PUMP MOTOR-I NOTICED THAT WATER HAS GONE INSIDE THE PUMP, DUE TO THE O-RING IS LOSE. CAN THE DRAIN PUMP BE REUSED WHEN IT IS DRY & THE O-RING REPLACED? NEED ANSWER ASAP - THANK YOU
Answer Hi Percy. Yes, most of the time when the pump is dry completely you can reuse the pump. In searching L.G. parts breakdown, i cannot find the o-ring requested. The o-ring is only sold with the pump itself. Hint's: You can either momentarily reuse the o-ring by putting some petroleum jelly on it and it will seal for some time. You can go to Ace Hardware and match up the o-ring to either American size or metric size. The pump part # is 4681EA2001T. Hope this helps. Thank you. Read More...
