Phil for Model Number Maytag Atlantis washer Hello, my washer has been intermittent working and a burnt smell is coming from the machine. I can do a load , fills, spins, drains but has the burnt smell. It has completely stopped working before drain and had to wait a few hours before it started working again. Doesn't matter if load is small or large the burnt smell is there. First time it happened, I heard a weird noise from the washer, and then it cut power. Had to wait next day for it to work again. I'm not sure if it's a motor issue, or something else. I would appreciate if someone could direct me to the right fix so I can get the parts ordered. Thanks
Answer Hello Phil. It sounds like the bearings are bad or the motor is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, March 11, 2016
