Tom for Model Number WM2455H I have a LG washing machine model WM2455H it won't drain. The pump is locked up and needs replacement. Could you please provide me with the procedure to replace the pump. Also would it be a good idea to replace the circulating pump while I have it apart. Thank You
Answer Hi Tom. You will need to remove the top. There are screws in back bottom of the hinge that will help. Then focus on the removal of the dispenser and all front panel screws. Open the door and look up to see if there ant screws hidden there. Pop off the front control panel and unhhook the electrical connectors. Then remove the door boot ring holding the boot to the outer door. Remove the screws holding the door switch. Remove the upper panel screws. Un hinge the front panel pulling it towards you from the top. Then lift the panel up/off the cabinet. The pump is accessible then. You will need a shop vac and a dozen towels because even empty the water is great. The pump part # is 4681EA2001T .Thank you. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, August 15, 2011
