Rod for Model Number WM3370HWA This washer throws a OE error code after about 2 loads are ran and does not drain all of the water out of the tub. We have checked all of the boxes. No kinked drain hose, changed the drain pump, checked for any obstruction in the tub to drain pump hose. The water level appears to be good. Where should I go from here?
Answer Rod, if the spin basket rotates freely and spins out the clothes properly, the next step would be identifying if the drain hose is placed in the standpipe properly. If it is placed with a seal in the standpipe, a clog in the standpipe can potentially cause water to back up and not allow the washer to drain properly. Another thing to check for would be water that comes into the tub when it should not. If water does slowly dispense into the tub when it should not, it can cause this failure and would be a result of a valve failure. Read More...
