Larry for Model Number LG WM0642HW Washing machine My LG WM0642HW washing machine stops part way through the cycle with a flashing OE. I have taken it apart down to removing and taking apart the pump. No blockage anywhere in the discharge path. So I am assuming either the control board or the drain pump is bad. How do I troubleshoot from here? Should I apply 120V to the drain pump terminals and see if it functions? Not sure how to verify correct operation of the control board. Thanks, Larry
Answer Larry, If you have checked the drain fully including the pump and the impeller is still in place on the pump, Do a spin only cycle which should cycle the drain pump on and do a voltage test to make sure that the pump is indeed getting power. If the pump is getting power but not turning on then you would want to replace the pump. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, March 8, 2013
